Since 2010 when the first US Sponsor supported a child’s schooling in Bali, Education Rocks has grown with schools across the US and nearly a thousand sponsors supporting nearly a thousand children going to school across several developing countries.
If every school aged child in the US was to sponsor the education of a child in a developing nation, we could eradicate the cycle of poverty around the world

Education Rocks is found in schools around the U.S. and our team is on the ground in several developing countries building out a network of kids in need. We help connect them with kids back in the U.S. who care and sign on to sponsor their education.
US Sponsors create their own fundraising platform, Committing to raise $365 to sponsor a year of school for their sponsored student.
US Kids develop a close relationship with the student they are sponsoring through ongoing communication including letter writing and the exchange of artwork.
Sponsors develop leadership skills by learning life skills, business skills, nurturing relationship skills and through participation in Annual Leadership Summits. Club Board Members gain additional skills in organizational management.
Sponsors travel to Bali or Guatemala to visit their student in-country for an immersive experience designed to connect Sponsors and Students. This life-changing and affirming experience builds bridges not available virtually and illustrate the power of global community.
Sponsors and students participate in service-learning projects and immerse themselves in the local culture. Sponsors experience life through their student’s eyes driving mutual understanding and a closer bond.
A series of monthly leadership training sessions introducing key leadership distinctions to participants that they can incorporate into their daily lives as they develop their leadership skills. During each session, participants learn about a leadership distinction that they must put into practice through curated activities developing their skills while expanding their worldview.

Our journey began in Bali in 2010 with one school supporting the educational needs of one child. Today we are dozens of schools strong across several states supporting the educational needs of nearly 1,000 children in several developing nations annually. While our Founders are the heart and soul of Education Rocks, we are now run by a professional Board of Advisors and a small professional staff.
